DIY Skin Care Tip- Exfoliating Mask

  • 1 tablespoon of fine sugar (white or brown)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (or any other carrier oil of your choice)

1. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and honey. The sugar will act as the physical exfoliant, while honey provides moisturizing and antibacterial properties.

2. Add the olive oil to the mixture and stir well. The oil will help to bind the ingredients together and provide.

3.Stir well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

4. Gently apply the mixture to your clean, damp face, avoiding the eye area. Massage the scrub onto your skin using circular motions for about 1-2 minutes, focusing on areas that may need more exfoliation.

5. Rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel.

6. Follow up with your regular skincare routine, such as toner, serum, and moisturizer.

Note: It's important to perform a patch test before using any new ingredients on your skin to check for any potential allergies or sensitivities. Additionally, remember to be gentle while exfoliating and avoid over-exfoliating, as it can cause irritation or damage to the skin. Limit exfoliating to 1-2 times per week, depending on your skin type and sensitivity.
